The Painter Jean Martin

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919.) "On the Terrace of a Hotel in Bordighera: Painter Jean Martin Reviews His Bill" was an illustration by Renoir for his brother, Edmond's short story "L'Etiquette" published in 1881, for the periodical, La Vie Moderne. This piece is an offset lithograph taken from the image in "Renoir et Ses Amis" published by H. Floury, Paris (1921.) The image measures 9.75" x 8" and the work of art is plate signed, matted, and framed.
