The work of art is plate signed in the lower middle, and the artist’s printed name is in the lower right. The image is from the original conte crayon black and white drawing done in the 1950's by Norman Rockwell for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. (The Company had commissioned drawings from the artist during the 1950s and early 1960s for a series of national consumer advertisements which appeared in the nation's leading magazines, such as the Saturday Evening Post.)
