Unknown (Musers and Dreamers?)

Alvar Suñol aka Alvar Sunol Munoz-Ramos (b. 1935, Spain) Unknown Title (Musers and Dreamers?) Original color lithograph circa 1970, hand signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right margin and designated “Epreuve d’artiste I/XXV” (Artist Proof 1/25) in the lower left margin. The image is 33 x 24 inches, and the work of art is matted and framed measuring 45.5 x 32.5 inches. A Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery accompanies this piece. Featured in this beautiful print are four abstract female faces wearing bonnets; two have rounded arms and hands visible; one is perched in an overhead window, and one is holding a cut flower. The content and color palette exhibit depth. The image is typical of Alvar in its dream-like depiction of faces, rounded figures, contrasting patterns and fluid shapes with the geometrical lines of the window. Condition: Not inspected out of the frame; appears to be in very good condition.
