It has been mounted on black paper and matted in silver metallic, surrounded by a black wood frame measuring 39.25 x 27.25 inches. Created by JonOne, Roubaix, France / 2021, the print was published by the artist (self-released) on February 3, 2022.
John Andrew Perello (aka JonOne, Jonone and Jon156) is a graffiti artist who was born in 1963 in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. He began by tagging his name on city streets and attending clubs including the iconic Studio 54 where he encountered artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. He relocated to Paris in 1987 and his work has since been exhibited world-wide. Now working on various creative projects, he is doing studio work creating paintings and prints. His allover compositions are bright and bold using stylized calligraphy that make his work a unique form of abstract expressionism. His body of work has firmly established him in the forefront of his genre as a quintessential urban contemporary artist.
