Two Tigers on Gold

(After) Victor Vasarely (1908 – 1997, Hungarian) “Tigres – Fond Blanc” (Tigers – White Background) aka ‘Two Tigers on Gold’ (1977) Screen print in color, hand signed and numbered (201/250) in pencil by the artist ‘after’ his original 1938 oil on canvas called “Tigers”. The image measures 17.5 x 26 inches and the unframed sheet is 21.5 x 30 inches. The intertwined tigers and stripes are an example of Vasarely’s optical (Op) Art.
